Edward Tyas Cook
Sir Edward Tyas Cook (12 May 1857 – 30 September 1919) was an English journalist, biographer, and man of letters. Biography Born in Brighton, Cook was the youngest son of Silas Kemball Cook, secretary of the Royal Naval Hospital, Greenwich, and his wife, Emily, ''née'' Archer. He was educated at Winchester and New College, Oxford, where he was President of the Union and graduated with a double first. His friends assumed he would pursue a career in politics, but Cook's goal was to enter journalism. Moving to London, he worked as secretary for the London Society for Extension of University Teaching and made occasional contributions to several journals. During this time he joined Inner Temple but never sat for his bar finals. John Tyas
John Walter Tyas (26 November 1833 – 18 December 1903) was a linguist, bibliophile and University of Adelaide registrar. Tyas was the second son of John Tyas, for many years a member of the literary staff of ''The Times'', was born in Brixton, London, educated in France and afterwards at London University School and at King's College School, London. In 1854 he became tutor to the sons of John Walter (third), a member of the House of Commons and proprietor of the ''Times''. In 1861 he was admitted to the bar at the Inner Temple, and was attached to the staff of the ''Times'' for about four years. In February 1868 he arrived in Adelaide, and joined as a partner the firm of Carter, Tyas, & Co., Manchester warehousemen. Sean Tyas (, born November 8, 1979), is an American DJ and electronic music producer based in Switzerland. His productions and DJ sets are mainly based upon trance music. Career Sean Tyas was born in Massapequa Park, New York in 1979. He began his music career in 2006, after Dutch trance/electro house DJ, Sander van Doorn, selected him as the winner of the "Punk'd" remix contest. Shortly after releasing his debut single and first #1 record "Lift", Mixmag & Beatport named him "Best New DJ" and "One To Watch," marking the beginning of Tyas' journey to becoming one of the most celebrated names in trance music.
