Ty Masterson (born September 23, 1969) is a Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 16th district since 2009. From 2005 to 2008, he was a Representative in the Kansas House of Representatives. He lives in Andover and has served on the Andover City Council. In 2017, the American Conservative Union gave him a lifetime rating of 81%. Bankruptcy filing In 2011, Masterson filed for bankruptcy. Kansas Senate
The Kansas Senate is the upper house of the Kansas Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. State of Kansas. It is composed of 40 senators elected from single-member districts, each with a population of at least 60,000 inhabitants. Members of the Senate are elected to a four-year term. Kansas Chamber of Commerce (KCC) is a statewide business and industrial coalition in the state of Kansas. History KCC was founded in 1924 by representatives of 40 local chambers of commerce, who met in Hutchinson, Kansas. The founders focused on improving the state's highways. Its initial name was the Kansas Association of Chambers of Commerce. In 1925, it was renamed the Kansas Chamber of Commerce.
