Azul Conecta, formerly known as TwoFlex Aviação Inteligente, is a domestic and regional airline based in Jundiaí, Brazil, established in 2013. History Azul Conecta was formed as TwoFlex on April 1, 2013 as a result of the merger of Two Táxi Aéreo and Flex Aero Táxi Aéreo. Between August 2016 and June 2019, TwoFlex operated wet lease flights on behalf of Voe Minas Gerais, a State-run project that connected cities within the State of Minas Gerais to the State capital Belo Horizonte. TwoFlex was the only operator for the duration of this program, which was discontinued on June 30, 2019. In November 2017, Twoflex was granted rights to operate regular feeder passenger flights connecting smaller locations to main cities in all Brazilian territory. At the time, this authorization led to the increase of services provided by Voe Minas Gerais. Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras S/A (''Azul Brazilian Airlines''; or simply Azul) is a Brazilian carrier based in Barueri, a suburb of São Paulo. The company's business model is to stimulate demand by providing frequent and affordable air service to underserved markets throughout Brazil. Voe Minas Gerais was a program and informal name of a domestic airline based in Belo Horizonte/Pampulha – Carlos Drummond de Andrade Airport, Brazil, established in 2016 by the Government of the State of Minas Gerais via its Minas Gerais Development Company CODEMGE. Flights were operated by the contractor company TwoFlex on behalf of Voe Minas Gerais. Val-de-Cans/Júlio Cezar Ribeiro International Airport is the main airport serving Belém, Brazil. Val de Cans (sometimes spelled Val de Cães) is the name of the neighborhood where the airport is located. Essential Air Service (EAS) is a U.S. government program enacted to guarantee that small communities in the United States, which had been served by certificated airlines prior to deregulation in 1978, maintained commercial service. Its aim is to maintain a minimal level of scheduled air service to these communities that otherwise would not be profitable. The program is codified at . The United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) subsidizes airlines to serve communities across the country that otherwise would not receive scheduled air service. Alenquer is a municipality in the state of Pará in the Northern region of Brazil. The town is located on the northern bank of the Amazon River, roughly across from the city of Santarém. São Paulo/Congonhas–Deputado Freitas Nobre Airport is one of the four commercial airports serving São Paulo, Brazil. The airport is named after the neighborhood where it is located, called Vila Congonhas, property of the descendants of Lucas Antônio Monteiro de Barros (1767–1851), Viscount of Congonhas do Campo, first president of the Province of São Paulo after the independence of Brazil in 1822, during the Empire.
