Twister Supersonic Separator
The Twister supersonic separator is a compact tubular device which is used for removing water and/or hydrocarbon dewpointing of natural gas. The principle of operation is similar to the near isentropic Brayton cycle of a turboexpander. Isentropic
In thermodynamics, an isentropic process is an idealized thermodynamic process that is both adiabatic and reversible. The work transfers of the system are frictionless, and there is no net transfer of heat or matter. Such an idealized process is useful in engineering as a model of and basis of comparison for real processes. The Brayton cycle is a thermodynamic cycle that describes the operation of certain heat engines that have air or some other gas as their working fluid.
