Twin Lakes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Logan County, Oklahoma, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. Twin Lakes (Idaho)
The Twin Lakes are two adjacent alpine Glacial lakes separated by a narrow strip of land less than wide in Blaine County, Idaho, United States, located in the Sawtooth Mountains in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The lakes eventually flow into the Salmon River. Sawtooth National Forest trail 092 leads to the twin lakes. Description The Twin Lakes are in the Sawtooth Wilderness, and a wilderness permit can be obtained at a registration box at trailheads or wilderness boundaries. Twin Lakes is a pair of glacier-carved alpine lakes about south of historic Leadville, Colorado. They are downstream along the Arkansas River, whose headwaters are by Leadville. The lakes, however, are on a tributary, Lake Creek, which joins the Arkansas just below the lakes. Twin Lakes is a set of connected lakes at the base of the southeastern slope of Mammoth Mountain, in Mono County of eastern California. They are in the eastern Sierra Nevada, and within the Inyo National Forest. Twin Lakes are the lowest lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Basin.
