Tuvia Tenenbom ( he, טוביה טננבום; born 1957 in Bnei Brak, Israel) is a theater director, playwright, author, journalist, essayist and the founding artistic director of the Jewish Theater of New York, the only English-speaking Jewish theater in New York City. Tenenbom was called the "founder of a new form of Jewish theatre" by the French ''Le Monde'' and a "New Jew" by the Israeli ''Maariv''. Tenenbom is also an academic, having university degrees in mathematics, computer science, dramatic writing and literature. Hannes Stein (born 1965 in Munich) is a German journalist and author. He worked for several major German newspapers such as the '' FAZ'', the ''Berliner Zeitung'' and ''Die Welt''.
