	Merle Tuve Merle Anthony Tuve (June 27, 1901 – May 20, 1982) was an American geophysicist who was the Chairman of the Office of Scientific Research and Development's Section T, which was created in August 1940. He was founding director of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, the main laboratory of Section T during the war from 1942 onward. He was a pioneer in the use of pulsed radio waves whose discoveries opened the way to the development of radar and Nuclear power, nuclear energy. 	Rosemond Tuve Rosemond Teresa Marie Tuve (November 29, 1903 – December 20, 1964) was an American scholar of English literature, specializing in Renaissance literature—in particular, Edmund Spenser. She published four books on the subject (''Elizabethan and Metaphysical Imagery: Renaissance Poetic and Twentieth-century Critics'', ''A Reading of George Herbert'', ''Images & Themes in Five Poems by Milton'', and ''Allegorical Imagery; Some Mediaeval Books And Their Posterity'') along with several essays. 	Tuve Hasselquist Tuve Nilsson Hasselquist (also spelled ''Tufve'' and ''Hasselqvist''; also known as T. N.; March 2, 1816 – February 4, 1891) was a Swedish American Lutheran minister and church leader. He was the second president of Augustana College, serving from 1863 until his death in 1891. Biography Hasselquist was born in Hasslaröd, Osby Municipality in Skåne County, Sweden, to Nils Tufvesson and Sissa Svensdotter. The local parish priest convinced Tufvesson to send his son for further education, so he studied at a school in Kristianstad as a teenager, taking the surname Hasselquist. He enrolled at Lund University in 1835; while studying there, he was influenced by the Pietist Läsare movement, including Schartauanism, as well as the growing temperance movement and Peter Wieselgren's preaching. 	Tuve Skånberg Tuve Martin Hugo Skånberg von Beetzen (born 9 April 1956) is a Swedish Christian Democratic politician, member of the Swedish Riksdag from 1991 to 2006 and again from 2010 to 2022. Skånberg is Doctor of Theology of Lund University (2003) and a minister of the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden (1980).
