Tuuli Narkle
Tuuli Narkle is an Australian actress. For her performance in '' Mystery Road: Origin'' she won the 2022 AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama. Narkle began her career on stage with an appearance as Ruby in ''Stolen'' and in 2019 appeared in '' Winyanboga Yurringa'' and in Nakkiah Lui's '' Black Is The New White''. Mystery Road (TV Series)
''Mystery Road'' is an Australian television crime mystery series whose first series screened on ABC TV from 3 June 2018. The series is a spin-off from Ivan Sen's feature films '' Mystery Road'' and ''Goldstone'', taking place in-between the two. Aboriginal Australian detective Jay Swan, played by Aaron Pedersen, is the main character and actor in both the films and in the first two TV series, each of six episodes. Series 1 was directed by Rachel Perkins. Swan is brought in to solve a murder, with the local police officer played by Judy Davis. In Series 2, directed by Warwick Thornton and Wayne Blair, which began airing on ABC on 19 April 2020, Swan is brought in to solve a murder in a different location, with the "local copper" this time played by Jada Alberts. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015.
