Turramurra High School
Turramurra High School is a large public comprehensive co-educational high school of approximately 1177 students, operated by the New South Wales Department of Education, located in South Turramurra, a residential area on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1967, although the current premises weren't occupied until 1968, it adjoins the Lane Cove National Park. The school has links with nearby Macquarie University and the Whitehouse Institute of Design as well as local business organisations. The current school principal is David Arblaster. Sports Turramurra High School holds annual athletics, swimming and cross country carnivals. Sporting facilities at the school include two ovals, one indoor basketball court, and two outdoor basketball courts. Shane Gould
Shane Elizabeth Gould (born 23 November 1956) is an Australian former competition swimmer. She won three gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze, at the 1972 Summer Olympics. In 2018, she won the fifth season of ''Australian Survivor,'' becoming the oldest winner of any '' Survivor'' franchise. Gould was born in Australia, but spent most of her childhood in Fiji after she and her family moved there. At age 15, Gould competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, winning three gold medals. Gould was named the Australian of the Year in 1972, and received an MBE in 1983. History The division was proclaimed in 1900 and was one of the original 65 divisions contested at the first federal election. Anne-Marie Lucienne Schwirtlich , is an Australian librarian who was the Director-General of the National Library of Australia from 2011 to 2017. In 2015, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). Sarah Rose (born 18 February 1986) is a Paralympic swimming competitor from Australia. She was born in Sydney with dwarfism. At the 2004 Athens Games, she competed in four events and won a bronze medal in the Women's 50 m Butterfly S6 event. At the 2008 Beijing Games she competed in four events. At the 2006 IPC Swimming World Championships, she won a silver medal in the Women's 50m Butterfly S6.
