Turnaround Tour
The Turnaround Tour was the fourth concert tour by Irish pop band Westlife. The tour covered the UK and Europe in 2004 seen by 490,000 fans making £12,000,000, the tour was also supposed to appear in China, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Singapore; however, it was cancelled. Member Brian McFadden left the group on 9 March 2004, just three weeks before the first date of this tour in Belfast. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018. The group has released twelve studio albums: four as a five-piece and eight as a four-piece. They rose to fame with their debut international self-titled studio album, '' Westlife'' (1999). It was followed by '' Coast to Coast'' (2000), ''World of Our Own'' (2001), '' Unbreakable – The Greatest Hits Vol. 1'' (2002), and '' Turnaround'' (2003), which continued the group's success worldwide. "What Makes a Man" is a song by Irish boy band Westlife. It was released on 18 December 2000 in the UK and Ireland as the third single from their second studio album, '' Coast to Coast'', the first single from the album having been released with Mariah Carey. The song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart and was their first single not to peak at number one, being beaten to the Christmas number-one spot by " Can We Fix It?", the theme to the cartoon series ''Bob the Builder''. It also debuted and peaked at number two in Ireland, held off the top spot by Eminem's song " Stan". "Hey Whatever" is a song by Irish boy band Westlife. It was released on 15 September 2003 as the lead single from their fourth studio album, ''Turnaround (Westlife album), Turnaround'' (2003). The song is a re-written version of "Rainbow Zephyr", a popular song by Irish rock band Relish (band), Relish. Released on 15 September 2003, the song peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart. In ''Westlife - Our Story'', the band said they pushed for "Hey Whatever" to be released as the lead single despite Simon Cowell telling them they did not have a hit. It was released on 3 September 2001 as the sixth and final single from the album in Australia, Asia, Latin America, and mainland Europe. "When You're Looking Like That" peaked at number six in Denmark and was certified gold in Sweden by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) for shipments of 15,000 copies. "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love" is a song written by Bert Berns, Solomon Burke, and Jerry Wexler, and originally recorded by Solomon Burke under the production of Bert Berns at Atlantic Records in 1964. "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" is a song by the English duo Wham!, first released as a single in the UK on 14 May 1984. It became their first UK and US number one hit.
