Turkey Women's Junior National Volleyball Team
Turkey women's junior national volleyball team ( tr, Türkiye Genç Kadın Voleybol Milli Takımı) is the women's under-20 and under-19 national team formed by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) representing Turkey in international junior volleyball competitions like Women's Junior Volleyball World Championship with the U20 team and Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship with the U19 team. The team became bronze medalist at the 2008 Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship and champion at the Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship in 2012. The national team qualified for participation at the 2013 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship, and placed 5th. The Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) (in Turkish: ''Türkiye Voleybol Federasyonu'') is the governing body of volleyball and beach volleyball in Turkey. Formed in 1958, it is based in Ankara. The TVF is a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). Federation's president is Mehmet Akif Ustundag since November 21, 2016. 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship
The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship was the 21st edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, contested by the women's national teams under the age of 20 of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament was held in Belgium and Netherlands, making it the first time that the tournament was jointly hosted by more than one country. The defending champions, Japan, withdrew from the event. Qualification A total of 16 teams qualified for the final tournament. In addition to Belgium and Netherlands, who qualified automatically as the hosts, another 10 teams qualified via five separate continental tournaments which were required to be held by 31 December 2020 at the latest. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship will be the twentieth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, contested by the women's national teams under the age of 20 of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament was held in Mexico from 12 to 21 July 2019. Mexico played hosts for this event for the fourth time. The finals involved 16 teams, of which 15 came through qualifying competitions, while the host nation qualified automatically. Of the 16 teams, 15 had also appeared in the previous tournament in 2017, while Rwanda made its first appearances at an FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship. The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship was the eighteenth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, which was hosted by Puerto Rico from 11 to 19 September 2015 in the cities of Caguas, Gurabo, Juncos and Maunabo.
