Tuomas Uusimäki
Tuomas Uusimäki (born 9 July 1977) is a Finnish football coach and a former professional footballer, who played as a defensive midfielder. He was capped five times for Finland national football team during 2005–2006. Club career Uusimäki started playing in local clubs GBK and KPV in Kokkola. After playing for other Ostrobotnian clubs FF Jaro, Närpes Kraft and VPS in the second-tier Ykkönen and top-tier Veikkausliiga, Uusimäki joined BK Häcken in Sweden in 2001. He spent three seasons with Häcken before signing with Allsvenskan club Örgryte IS for the 2005 season, after the recommendation by the team's head coach Jukka Ikäläinen. Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system, operating on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. The 2001 season was the 71st completed season of Finnish Football League Championship, known as the Veikkausliiga. At the same time it was the 12th season of the Veikkausliiga. Overview The Veikkausliiga is administered by the Finnish Football Association and the competition's 2001 season was contested by 12 teams. Tampere United won the championship and qualified for the 2002–03 UEFA Champions League qualification round, while the second and third placed teams qualified for the first qualification round of the 2002–03 UEFA Cup. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Petter Meyer finished the 2015 as the top goal scorer for GrIFK with 23 goals. League structure For the 2012 season the format of the Kakkonen has been changed with the league divided in 4 groups of 10 teams, each representing a geographical area.
