Tunnel Vision
Tunnel vision is the loss of peripheral vision with retention of central vision, resulting in a constricted circular tunnel-like field of vision. Causes Tunnel vision can be caused by: Eyeglass users Eyeglass users experience tunnel vision to varying degrees due to the corrective lens only providing a small area of proper focus, with the rest of the field of view beyond the lenses being unfocused and blurry. Where a naturally sighted person only needs to move their eyes to see an object far to the side or far down, the eyeglass wearer may need to move their whole head to point the eyeglasses towards the target object. The eyeglass frame also blocks the view of the world with a thin opaque boundary separating the lens area from the rest of the field of view. The eyeglass frame is capable of obscuring small objects and details in the peripheral field. Mask, goggle, and helmet users Activities which require a protective mask, safety goggles, or fully enclosing protective he ...

Rina (EP)
''Rina'' (stylised in all caps) is the debut extended play by Japanese-British singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama. Also described as a mini album, ''Rina'' was independently released on 27 October 2017. Sawayama funded the album herself, working for "2-3 jobs at a time for years" to save enough to release the EP. Sawayama promoted the album through the Ordinary Superstar Tour in 2018. Critical reception Rachel Aroesti of ''The Guardian'' called the EP "nostalgic" and capable of "shepard ng pop into the future." She praised "Alterlife" as a highlight and called it a "double-speed power ballad, replete with twinkling synths and an industrial guitar riff" and compared it to Grimes' 2015 album ''Art Angels''. She also compared "Ordinary Superstar" to Britney Spears and Hannah Montana, with the former exerting heavy influence over the EP as a whole. Saam Idelji-Tehrani of ''The Line of Best Fit'' also praised ''Rina'', saying "Although Sawayama's mini-album is one laced with nostalgi ...

It reached number 10 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 5 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming Kravitz's first top 10 album in the US and second in the UK. Background The album deals with different topics, such as rock star lifestyles on " Rock and Roll Is Dead" and religion on "God Is Love" and "The Resurrection". Kravitz is quoted as saying that the making of the album was a very tedious process—he was unhappy with the music business at the time, and his mother's illness was also weighing on his mind. The recording locations were Chateau Des Conde, France; Compass Point Studios, Nassau, Bahamas; and Waterfront Studios, Hoboken, NJ. Reception Rob Wagner of '' The Tech'' stated, "Though Circus is a bit of a rip-off album, it could be justified. Kravitz believes that rock and roll is dead, so he could be trying to revive it by copying past rock and roll songs that wo ...

Tunnel Vision (metaphor)
Tunnel vision metaphorically denotes the reluctance to consider alternatives to one's preferred line of thought; instances may include physicians treating patients, detectives considering crime suspects, or anyone predisposed to a favored outcome. The common way to solve this problem is a second opinion, that is, getting somebody unrelated to the original investigation to look at it from the beginning, without the same biases and preconceptions. This is generally due to bias from preceding incidents.
