Tumble (TV Series)
''Tumble'' (originally ''Let's Get Ready to Tumble'') is a British television show, featuring celebrities taking part in gymnastics to win the votes of the public. Learning sessions were given on the basics of gymnastics to the celebrities taking part. The show was backed by British Gymnastics. The trainers were the same ones who trained Louis Smith and Beth Tweddle. The show was broadcast live over six episodes on BBC One, starting on 9 August 2014. The series was hosted by Alex Jones. The judges were Nadia Comăneci, Louis Smith, Craig Heap and Sebastien Stella. On occasions the judges would perform a routine. On 14 November 2014, BBC One cancelled the show after only one series. Derrick Evans (fitness Instructor)
Derrick Errol Evans (born 15 November 1952), better known as "Mr Motivator", is a Jamaican-born British fitness instructor. He rose to fame in 1993 through appearances on the UK breakfast television show ''GMTV'', where he performed live fitness sessions and offered tips and advice to viewers. Following the rise in popularity of his fitness sessions, he released a number of fitness and workout videos in the 1990s. Early life Evans was born on 15 November 1952 in Manchester Parish, Jamaica, to a single mother who gave him away when he was three months old. His adoptive father, Stanford Rose, was a farmer on a small farm in Jamaica. Evans said he was sexually abused as a child. Doug Fordyce
Douglas Fordyce (born 3 February 1990), known usually as Doug Fordyce, is a British acrobatic gymnast who won the title of world men's pairs champion with Edward Upcott in July 2010 in Poland. Until 2012, Fordyce was a member of Spelbound, the gymnastic group who rose to fame in 2010, winning the fourth series of ''Britain's Got Talent''. The prize was £100,000 and the opportunity to appear at the 2010 Royal Variety Performance. Sugababes
Sugababes are a British girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by All Saints manager Ron Tom, Sugababes released their debut album '' One Touch'' through London Records in November 2000, which achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". In 2001, Donaghy departed the group and was replaced by Heidi Range. Amelle Berrabah
Amelle Berrabah (born 22 April 1984), also known as Amelle, is a British singer, best known for being a former member of the girl group the Sugababes, replacing founding member Mutya Buena, who left the group in December 2005. She achieved a solo number one single in 2009 when she collaborated with Tinchy Stryder on their single "Never Leave You", which made her the first and, to date, the only member of the Sugababes to achieve a number-one single outside of the group. Early life Berrabah was born on 22 April 1984 in Aldershot, Hampshire to Moroccan parents. She has four sisters, younger sister Samiya, older sisters Laila, Zakiya and Nora and a brother, Khaled. John Partridge (actor)
John Partridge (born 24 July 1971) is an English actor, dancer, singer, panelist and television presenter, who is probably best known for the role of Christian Clarke in the long-running BBC television soap opera ''EastEnders'', having joined the cast in January 2008. Andrea Jean McLean (born 5 October 1969) is a Scottish journalist and television presenter who worked on ITV Daytime. She was a weather presenter for ''GMTV'' from 1997 to 2008, and a co-presenter on ITV's daytime chat show ''Loose Women'' from 2007 to 2020. Early life Although born in Glasgow, McLean and her sister were raised in Trinidad and Tobago. The family then moved back to Scotland when she was 15, but later settled in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England, and took her school exams at Robert Smyth grammar school. McLean is of Russian Jewish descent on her father's side who fled from Russia to Scotland to avoid persecution.
