Tulsa Revolution
The Tulsa Revolution was a professional indoor soccer team from Tulsa, Oklahoma, which began play in the Professional Arena Soccer League with the 2013–14 season then segued to the Major Arena Soccer League for the 2014–15 season. The team was co-owned by Adam Mellor and Shannon Clark. Under the leadership of head coach Alex Miranda, the Revolution played their 2015 home games in the Expo Square Pavilion at the Tulsa State Fairgrounds in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 2013 and 2014 home games were played at the Cox Business Center in downtown Tulsa. The original Tulsa Revolution, also owned by Mellor and coached by Kerry Shubert, played in the Central Division of the American Indoor Soccer League in 2008. Expo Square Pavilion
The Expo Square Pavilion, sometimes called simply The Pavilion, and formerly known as the Tulsa Fairgrounds Pavilion, is a 6,311-seat multi-purpose arena, in the Tulsa State Fairgrounds in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was built in 1932; the architect was Leland I Shumway. The building is in the PWA Art Deco style, built of blond brick with terra cotta ornamentation, and is considered one of the prime examples of Art Deco architecture in Tulsa. It was home to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball team from 1947 until the opening of the Tulsa Convention Center in 1964, the Tulsa Oilers Central Hockey League team in the 1983–84 season and the Tulsa 66ers, of the NBA Development League, until they moved to the SpiritBank Event Center in 2008. Oxford City FC Of Texas
Oxford City FC of Texas was an American professional indoor soccer team based in Beaumont, Texas. The team joined the Professional Arena Soccer League on September 26, 2012, as the Texas Strikers. Play in the team's inaugural season began in November 2012. In May 2014, the league changed its name to Major Arena Soccer League. The team played at Ford Arena. Oxford City Football Club, Inc. purchased the Texas Strikers on July 23, 2014, and the team was renamed after the parent club as "Oxford City FC of Texas". On December 15, 2014, team owner Oxford City Football Club, Inc. announced that it had "successfully come to terms to sell" Oxford City FC of Texas to an unspecified "Latin American group", pending league approval.
