Tulia Ackson
Tulia Ackson (born 23 November 1976) is the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania, in office since 2022. She was appointed as a Member of Parliament by President John Magufuli. Early life Ackson was born on 23 November 1976 in Bulyaga Ward, Tukuyu Division, Rungwe District, Mbeya Region. Education Ackson passed her primary education at Mabonde Primary School in Tukuyu from 1984 to 1990 where she obtained a certificate of Primary Education. She was selected to join Loleza Girls Secondary School in Mbeya where she obtained certificate of Secondary Education in 1994, and obtained an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education at Zanaki Girls Secondary School. She then joined the University of Dar es Salaam in 1998 where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Laws in 2001. Ackson graduate a master's degree in Law in 2003. Tulia Ciámpoli (7 January 1915 in Ballesteros, Córdoba – 2 December 1981 in Buenos Aires) was an Argentine actress, dancer, and violinist. In 1928, she became the first Miss Argentina. She was of Italian descent. She was married to David Ovejero and had one daughter, Silvia. Biography Daughter of Francisco Ciámpoli and Tulia Dagna Fierro Zamudio, she was a leading young figure in films of the 1930s. Due to her strong features, with an imposing beauty (with her characteristic black hair and eyes), she began her extensive career at the age of 16 after being the first winner of the contest held by the magazine El Hogar Argentino in Mar del Plata, being consecrated "Miss Argentina 1928" (the first in Argentina), and whose presence was graced by President Marcelo T. de Alvear. Tulia (band)
Tulia is a Polish folk music group. The band was formed in 2017, in Szczecin, Poland. There are three singers in the band: Dominika Siepka, Patrycja Nowicka and Tulia Biczak, whose name was chosen as the name of the band. They received major attention in Poland in 2017, after sharing a cover of Depeche Mode's song " Enjoy the Silence" on YouTube. The group use the white voice singing technique. Career In 2017 they recorded and uploaded their own version of Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode which in the same month was published on the band's fanpage. In November 2017, in Szczecin, Tulia band was officially formed. In February 2018, they realised an official video to the song. It scored over 11 million views on YouTube. Tulia High School is a public high school located in Tulia, Texas, United States that is classified as a 3A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). It is part of the Tulia Independent School District located in central Swisher County. In 2013, the school was rated " Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.
