Tuipang
Tipa is a town in Siaha district, Mizoram, India. The famous Pala Lake is situated under Tipa Civil Sub Division. There are two sections of Original Tipa. One section is known as Tipa'B' (Bei vaih) While the other section is known as Viah Vaih (Village constituting the outsiders locally known as 'Viah'). The Mara people are the main inhabitants of Tipa while only 1% of the total population constitutes migrated workers of plain land India. The Kaladan Road Project is a US$484 million project connecting the eastern Indian seaport of Kolkata with Sittwe seaport in Rakhine State, Myanmar by sea. Saiha District
Siaha District is one of the eleven districts of Mizoram state in India. The district is bounded on the northwest by Lunglei district, on the north and west by Lawngtlai District and on the south and east by Myanmar. The district occupies an area of 1399.9 km2. Siaha town is the administrative headquarters of the Mara Autonomous District Council. The population had decreased from 60,823 (in 2001 census) to 56,574 (in 2011 census). It is the least populous district of Mizoram (out of 8). History Siaha District was formerly part of Chhimtuipui District. Mizoram
Mizoram () is a state in Northeast India, with Aizawl as its seat of government and capital city. The name of the state is derived from "Mizo people, Mizo", the endonym, self-described name of the native inhabitants, and "Ram", which in the Mizo language means "land." Mara Language
Mara is a Kuki-Chin language spoken by Mara people, mostly the Tlosaih tribe living in 30 villages of Chhimtuipui district, southern Mizoram, India and the adjacent villages in Burma. The Mara (Tlosaih) languages belong to the Kuki-Chin branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family. The speakers of the languages are also known as Mara (Tlosais).
