Matthew Petelu Tuiasosopo (born May 10, 1986) is an American former professional baseball utility player and the current manager of the Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and Atlanta Braves. Early life Tuiasosopo played for the Woodinville West Little League at the 1998 Little League Western Regional Tournament in San Bernardino, California. Marques Tavita Tuiasosopo (born March 22, 1979) is an American football coach and former player. He played professionally as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets. Tuiasosopo was selected in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Raiders with the 59th overall pick. In 2013, he joined his alma mater, the University of Washington, serving as quarterbacks coach and as interim head coach in the 2013 Fight Hunger Bowl. Tuiasosopo is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Rice. Peter "Navy" Tuiasosopo (born May 24, 1965) is an American actor known for his roles as E. Honda in Universal Pictures ''Street Fighter'' and Manumana in the Paramount Pictures film '' Necessary Roughness''. He also played custodian Yoshi Nakamura in the Disney TV show Kickin It. He is a former American football center in the National Football League for the Los Angeles Rams. He played college football at Utah State University. Manu'ula Asovalu Tuiasosopo (born August 30, 1957) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was the 18th overall selection of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA. After five years in Seattle, he played the final three seasons of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, who won Super Bowl XIX in January 1985. Post-football Tuiasosopo was last employed by the Alaska Airlines cargo department in Seattle. He currently coaches the defensive line for Monroe High School in Monroe, Washington.
