Tuhami Al-Wazzani
Tuhami al-Wazzani (1903–1972) was a Moroccan historian from Tétouan. He is especially well known for his autobiography ''Al-Zawiyya''.''Al-Zawiyya'', Tetouan, Muassasat al-Tuhami al-Wazzani li al-Taqafa wa al-Nachr, 1999 (First edition published by Matbaat al-Rif, 1942) This book was first published in episodes in the magazine ''Al-Rif'' (founded by him August 27, 1936), beginning in 1939. Al-Wazzani translated Cervantes' Don Quixote into Arabic. Tétouan
Tétouan ( ar, تطوان, tiṭwān, ber, ⵜⵉⵟⵟⴰⵡⴰⵏ, tiṭṭawan; es, Tetuán) is a city in northern Morocco. It lies along the Martil Valley and is one of the two major ports of Morocco on the Mediterranean Sea, a few miles south of the Strait of Gibraltar, and about E.S.E. of Tangier. In the 2014 Moroccan census, the city recorded a population of 380,787 inhabitants. It is part of the administrative division Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima.
