Tuggeranong United
Tuggeranong United FC are an association football club based in the southern Canberra region of Tuggeranong, ACT, Australia. The club competes in the highest level of football in the ACT, NPL Capital Football. Tuggeranong United is one of the largest football clubs in Canberra with an extensive elite NPL pathway from U13s to first team for both men and women. The club also boasts many recreational senior teams in the ACT State League structure, three Masters teams and a whole junior club setup. History Founding and early years Tuggeranong United was founded in 1976 as Kambah United Soccer Club. The senior First Team competed in the First Division of ACT football while the club catered for both junior and senior players in the Tuggeranong Valley. Viking Park
Viking Park is an 7,000 capacity (1,000 seated) multi-sport stadium located in the Tuggeranong Valley suburb Wanniassa, Canberra, Australia. It has a rectangular playing surface which is used primarily to host rugby union matches but additionally has hosted rugby league, Association football and baseball. It is home to the Tuggeranong Vikings and all matches of the ACTRU Premier Division finals, the Canberra Vikings who compete in the National Rugby Championship and the Tuggeranong Vikings Baseball Club. Rory Delap
Rory John Delap (born 6 July 1976) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in England, he made 11 appearances for the Republic of Ireland national team. Delap started his career at Carlisle United and impressed enough to earn a move to Premiership side Derby County in 1998. In 2001, Delap joined Southampton for a club record of £4 million. After spending five years on the south coast, he moved to Sunderland. Following a brief spell on Wearside, Delap was loaned to Stoke City in October 2006. KGV Park
KGV Park, or simply KGV (King George V) is home to Football Federation Tasmania, the governing body for association football in Tasmania, and home to the Glenorchy Knights football team. It is referred to as the Home of Football in Tasmania. It is located in the heart of Glenorchy less than 1 kilometre from the Glenorchy CBD, 7 kilometres from Hobart City. Current use KGV is home to the Glenorchy Knights football club who play home matches in the NPL Tasmania and lower grades at the ground. It is also used for all major football matches played in the South of Tasmania, including Statewide Cup Finals and Statewide Finals Series Matches.
