Innocent Ujah Idibia MON (born 18 September 1975), known by his stage name 2Baba, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Noted for his vocal range, lyrical depth, and longevity, he is widely regarded as one of Nigeria's greatest musicians of all-time. He is most influential for the rise in popularity of Nigerian pop music in the 2000s, and his solo debut album Face2Face (with the smash hit "African Queen") ushered in a new wave of awareness and reverence for Nigerian music amongst Africans on the continent and in diaspora. Prior to July 2014, he went by the stage name 2face Idibia. 2Baba is the first winner of MTV EMA Best African Act category in 2005, and is one of the most awarded Nigerian musicians in history. Faze (musician)
Chibuzor Oji, better known by his stage name Faze, is a Nigerian musician and actor. He was a member of the defunct Nigerian hip hop group Plantashun Boyz, along with BlackFace Naija and 2face Idibia. The group split up in 2004 and each member of the group has gone on to launch solo careers. His first album '' Faze Alone'' sold over three million copies, while his second album ''Independent'' has sold over 7 million copies. His third album ''Originality'' went platinum in its first month of release. He is the first Nigerian artist to have three consecutive platinum albums. His collaborations include a recorded single with Wyclef Jean titled "Proud to Be African". In 2011, Faze made his acting debut starring in the lead male role of Lovechild in the critically acclaimed Nigerian movie ''Alero's Symphony''. The Unstoppable
''The Unstoppable'' is the third studio album by the Nigerian R&B artist 2face Idibia, released in 2008, through his label Hypertek Entertainment. The album was produced by J Sleek, Jiggy Jegg, Mic Tunes, Ozzy, Spanky with one track "Flex" produced by R. Kelly and featuring him on the track. The first and only single from the album was the pre-released "Enter The Place", in anticipation of the release of the album. The single featured the Nigerian recording artist Sound Sultan. Annie Macaulay–Idibia (born 13 November 1984) is a Nigerian, model, presenter, and actress. She was nominated in the " Best Supporting Actress" category at the 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards. Early life and education Annie was born in Ibadan but is originally from Eket in Akwa Ibom State. She moved to Lagos with her mother after the divorce of her parents. Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo (born in Ogwule, Agatu, Benue State, Nigeria), known by his stage name Blackface Naija or just Blackface, is a Nigerian dancehall, ragga, reggae singer, and songwriter. He is best known as co-writer of "African Queen" with 2Baba, a song made famous by the latter after it appeared on his debut solo album '' Face 2 Face'' in 2004 to become an international hit. In Plantashun Boyz Blackface was a founding member of the Nigerian band Plantashun Boyz that he formed in 2000 with 2Baba and musician Chibuzor Oji (better known as Faze). Plantashun Boiz
Plantashun Boiz were a Nigerian hiphop and R&B music group. It consisted of 2face Idibia, Faze and Blackface. The group was formed during their college years in Enugu, at the Institute Of Management And Technology (I.M.T Enugu), Eastern Nigeria. The group moved down to Lagos where they gained popularity and with the inclusion of new member Faze at the time it was a formidable team. It didn't take long before a chance meeting with Tony Tetuila another Nigerian ex member of The Remedies led to further exposure of the group and eventual release of their first album as Plantashun Boiz in the year 2000.
