Tsugi No Ashiato
is the fifth studio album by Japanese idol girl group AKB48. It is the second AKB48 double-album, and was released in Japan on January 22, 2014 by King Records. It debuted at number one in the weekly Oricon Albums Chart, selling over 960,000 copies. On February 6, the album became AKB48's second successive album to sell over one million copies. Promotion and release On 24 November 2013, it was announced that AKB48 would release their 5th studio album, their first in over a year. It was revealed that the album would have 25 songs, including songs such as ''Manatsu no Sounds Good!'' and ''Koisuru Fortune Cookie'' from their previous singles. The album title, cover and tracks were subsequently reviewed on 21 December 2013. It was also announced that 15 of the tracks were written for this album, and that many of the songs were sung by different units within AKB48. AKB48 (pronounced ''A.K.B. Forty-Eight'') is a Japanese idol girl group named after the Akihabara (''Akiba'' for short) area in Tokyo, where the group's theater is located. AKB48's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and performing daily so fans could always see them live (which is not the case with usual pop groups giving occasional concerts and seen on television). is the 32nd music single, single by the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. It was released in Japan on August 21, 2013. The single contains graduation songs for Mariko Shinoda and Tomomi Itano. Rie Kitahara
is a Japanese singer and actress formerly associated with the Japanese idol girl group NGT48 and former member of AKB48 and SKE48. She debuted in 2008 in Team A and was later co-captain of Team K (2014). In March 2015, it was announced Kitahara would be transferred to NGT48 as captain of the group. Ayaka Umeda
is a former Japanese idol and singer from the girl group NMB48, in which she is the co-captain of Team BII. She was also a member of the AKB48 and its subunit DiVA. Haruka Shimazaki
is a Japanese actress, singer, and former member of the Japanese idol group AKB48. Her supposed apathetic attitude toward idol fans led to the popularity of the buzzword in Japanese media.
