Tsugaru Mountains
The are a mountain range on the Tsugaru Peninsula of Aomori Prefecture, in Honshū, Japan. The range stretches south-southeast from Cape Tappi on the northern end of the peninsula to the western flank of the volcanic Hakkōda Mountains south of the city of Aomori (city), Aomori. The highest point in the range is Mount Maruyakata, measuring . It is made up of mountains ranging roughly between in height. Some mountains in the range are Mount Bonju, Mount Maruyakata, Tongari-dake, and Mount Manogami. Aomori Bay
The is a bay located north of the island of Honshu, in Japan. It is considered to be part of the larger Mutsu Bay. Geography Aomori Bay is an inner bay located to the west of Natsudomari Peninsula that protrudes in the center of the southern coast of Mutsu Bay. The bay is bordered by the Tsugaru Peninsula to the west and the harbor of Aomori to the south. Hakkōda Mountains

Cape Tappi
is a headland on the northwestern point of the island of Honshu in Japan. The name is believed to be derived from ''tampa'' which means "sword's edge" in the Ainu language. It is located on the northern tip of the Tsugaru Peninsula within the borders of the town of Sotogahama in Aomori Prefecture. Much of the cape is also a part of the Tsugaru Quasi-National Park. The cape marks the western limit of the Tsugaru Strait, separating it from the Sea of Japan. The area is known for its almost constant strong winds.
