Tshegofatso Ketshabile, known professionally as Tshego is a South African-American singer-songwriter. He gained prominence in 2016, after releasing his hit single "Hennessy" and release of his debut album ''Pink Panther'' (2019). Early life Tshego was born to two ordained ministers on 21 May 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia United States where his parents were studying. He frequently visited South Africa from the age of 4 until he eventually relocated and settled in Mafikeng to focus on his music career. ''Pink Panther'' is the debut album by South African R&B singer Tshego. The album was released on 29 August 2019, through Twenty Five Eight Entertainment, and licensed through Universal Music South Africa. The album was executively produced by Tshego, and Alie Keys; with additional production from Yaw Bannerman, Gemini Major, and Lunatik. It features guest appearances from King Monada, Riky Rick, Kwesta, Black Class, Tellaman, Thabsie, Focalistic, and Frank Casino. "No Ties" is a song by South African R&B singer Tshego, released as the only single from his first studio album ''Pink Panther''. The song was produced by South African record producer Alie Keys, and Tshego. It was ranked at number 12 on OkayAfrica's list of 20 Best South African Songs of 2019. 26th South African Music Awards
The 26th Annual South African Music Awards were held on 3–7 August 2020. Unlike previous years shows, the ceremony was broadcast as a five-night event, with the first four episodes being 30 minutes long, while the fifth one was a 45-minute grand finale. It was held virtually due to the effects of COVID-19 lockdowns, and for the first time, the award show was to be broadcast live on Multichoice's Mzansi Magic Channel (the award show was originally broadcast on SABC 1, but due to the channel's financial problems it was cancelled, then it was picked up by Multichoice). This was the first year the show was broadcast live via My Muze by Vodacom. The award show was originally scheduled to take place on 2 June, in Sun City Arena, North West and was to air live. Benn Gilbert Kamoto (born 14 June 1990), better known by his stage name Gemini Major, is a Malawian-born South African record producer and singer-songwriter. He was signed to Family Tree Records, a South African independent record label found by Cassper Nyovest. Early life and career Gemini Major finished high school in 2007 and graduated in I.T. in 2009. Refiloe Maele Phoolo (born 16 December 1990), professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and amateur boxer. Born and raised in Mahikeng, North West, he is regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa. In 2014, he established his own record label, Family Tree Records.
