Olaf Trygve Dalseg (15 September 1898 – 12 April 1987) was a Norwegian marketing agent. He was born in Ringebu. He worked for the magazine ''Hjemmet'' and newspaper ''Morgenbladet'' and was also involved in film (directing the now-lost 1923 film ''Strandhugg paa Kavringen'') before starting a career in marketing and advertising. His own marketing agency was named Dalseg Promotion. He was also affiliated with Institute of Marketing (), and was an honorary member of Norwegian Association of Advertising Agencies who owned the Institute. Trygve Lie
Trygve Halvdan Lie ( , ; 16 July 1896 – 30 December 1968) was a Norwegians, Norwegian politician, labour leader, government official and author. He served as Norwegian foreign minister during the critical years of the Nygaardsvold's Cabinet, Norwegian government in exile in London from 1940 to 1945. From 1946 to 1952 he was the Secretary-General of the United Nations#Secretaries-General, first Secretary-General of the United Nations. Early life Lie was born in Kristiania (now Oslo) on 16 July 1896. His father, carpenter Martin Lie, left the family to emigrate to the United States in 1902, and was never heard from again. Trygve De Lange
Trygve de Lange (3 September 1918 – 12 February 1981) was a Norwegian lawyer and secretary-general of Libertas. He was born in Kristiania, took his examen artium in 1937 and the cand.jur. degree at the University of Oslo in 1941. He edited the periodical ''Minerva'' from 1938 to 1939, and was deputy chair of the Norwegian Students' Society in 1940. In 1942 he married Lulla Bagn (1918–2003). After World War II he opened a lawyer's office. When Libertas was founded to promote libertarian ideas after World War 2 in order to counteract the social democratic tendency of the time, de Lange was hired as the first secretary-general. In 1955, de Lange was hired part-time as finance secretary in the Conservative Party by the party's general secretary, Leif Helberg. Trygve Knudsen (23 June 1897 – 18 January 1968) was a Norwegian philologist, linguist and lexicographer. Personal life Knudsen was born in Tønsberg as the son of lawyer Knud Peder Knudsen (1863–1937) and Henriette von Lachmann Mørck (1867–1923). He married Grethe Tønnessen in 1925. Career Knudsen finished his secondary education in Tønsberg 1916, and enrolled in philology at the University of Kristiania. He took the cand.philol. degree in 1923, and his thesis was issued as a book, titled ''P. A. Munch og samtidens norske mÃ¥lstræv''. Between 1925 and 1930 he worked as a University research fellow, and later as a teacher in Aker and Oslo. Trygve Johannessen
Trygve Johannessen (born 11 January 1953) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is best known for his time at Viking, with whom he won four league titles and one cup between 1974 and 1982. He scored a total of 181 goals in 312 games for Viking (these numbers include friendlies). Career Johannessen had many youth caps when he moved from Florvåg IF to Viking in the summer of 1974. Viking paid somewhat less than for the player, at a time when money was seen as taboo in Norwegian football. Johannessen played well to hold his place in the team, and was for many years Viking's top scorer. He became top goalscorer in the first division with 17 goals in 1977 and 11 goals in 1982.
