Truth Decay (Hypnogaja)
''Truth Decay'' is the fifth studio album by Hypnogaja. The project's first single, "The March," spawned a music video directed by ASC Award-winning cinematographer, Nelson Cragg. During their tour in support of the album, Hypnogaja appeared on the debut episode of ''Stripped Down Live'' (hosted by Tears For Fears' Curt Smith) and performed a showcase slot at ''South by Southwest''. Concept ''Truth Decay'' is a science fiction-tinged concept album in which all of the songs revolve around the central story of a world's dramatic, apocalyptic end – and how life cycles into new chapters. The album cover art was illustrated by Kevin Grimm. The various paintings illustrate the album's concept, telling the story of one world's end - and the dawn of a new one. Hypnogaja (pronounced hip-nō-gä-zhä) is an American rock band founded by vocalist Jason Arnold (known professionally as ShyBoy) and keyboardist Mark Nubar in 2000. Trevant Hardson (born October 5, 1970), best known by his stage name Slimkid3 (Slim Kid Tre; sometimes stylized as SlimKid3), is an American rapper from Los Angeles. He is a founding member of The Pharcyde. Career Tre Hardson began his career in the entertainment industry as a dancer and choreographer under the moniker Two for Two with his two high school friends Bootie Brown and Imani. Two for Two made numerous appearances in music videos, but had its most notable exposure with a short stint on the television show ''In Living Color''. As a member of The Pharcyde, he has contributed to ''Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde'', as well as its follow-up release ''Labcabincalifornia''. "On the Radio" is a song by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, produced by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder, and released in late 1979 on the Casablanca record label. It was written for the soundtrack to the film ''Foxes'' and included on Summer's first international compilation album '' On the Radio: Greatest Hits Volumes I & II''. History The song was released in three formats: the radio 45rpm single; the 5+ minute version included on Summer's ''Greatest Hits'' double album package, and a DJ Promo 7+ minute version released on 12" single (and included on the ''Foxes'' film soundtrack album). This last version was later released on the '' Bad Girls'' CD digipack double CD release. LaDonna Adrian Gaines (December 31, 1948May 17, 2012), known professionally as Donna Summer, was an American singer and songwriter. She gained prominence during the disco era of the 1970s and became known as the " Queen of Disco", while her music gained a global following. Influenced by the counterculture of the 1960s, Summer became the lead singer of a psychedelic rock band named Crow and moved to New York City. In 1968, she joined a German adaptation of the musical ''Hair'' in Munich, where she spent several years living, acting, and singing. ''America's Best Dance Crew'', often abbreviated as ''ABDC'', was an American competitive dance reality television series that features both national and international dance crews. The show was produced by singer, record producer, and former ''American Idol'' judge Randy Jackson. The series premiered on February 7, 2008, on MTV. It was originally developed for NBC as ''World Moves''. The show was hosted by actor Mario Lopez, and featured television personality Layla Kayleigh as the backstage correspondent. Kaba Modern
Kaba Modern is a dance group originating in Irvine, California. Kaba Modern is a spin-off of the University of California, Irvine Filipino cultural club, Kababayan, which means "countrymen" in Tagalog. Created by Arnel Calvario in 1992, Kaba Modern began as dancers that performed the hip-hop portion or the "Modern Suite" of Kababayan's annual Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN) at UCI. Since then, Kaba Modern has entered multinational competitions and gained recognition in the media. Queen (band)
Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass).
