The album is called ''Truth Crushed to Earth Shall Rise Again'', but the cover of the CD reads ''Truth Crushed To Earth Will Rise Again''. The album title is a line from the poem "The Battle-Field," by William Cullen Bryant. Critical reception Sputnikmusic wrote that "the trio’s most rounded, consistent & memorable LP is grossly under-appreciated." Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine that ranks R&B and hip hop albums based on sales in the United States and is compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. The chart debuted as Hot R&B LPs in the issue dated January 30, 1965 in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. It then went through several name changes, being known as Soul LPs in the 1970s and Top Black Albums in the 1980s, before returning to the R&B identification in 1990 and affixing a hip hop designation in 1999 to reflect the latter's growing sales and relationship to R&B during the decade. Mikal Safiyullah (born Mark Richardson; 1968), better known by his stage name Divine Styler, is an alternative hip hop artist from Brooklyn, New York. History He first emerged as part of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate. His first LP, '' Word Power'', was hailed by critics and fans, but was not a commercial success. His second album, the wildly experimental '' Spiral Walls Containing Autumns of Light'', also failed to sell well. In 1998, Divine Styler hooked up with the Quannum Records crew, teaming up with his dear friend and fellow Rhyme Syndicate alumni Everlast, Styles of Beyond, and the Beat Junkies. Carl Stubner is an American talent manager and entertainment industry veteran who has guided the careers of a number of prominent entertainers including Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Top and Andrew Dice Clay. Career Stubner began his entertainment career in 1989 in the mail room of management firm Gallin Morey Associates, where he struck up a close relationship with comedian Andrew Dice Clay, eventually becoming his tour director. By 1993, Stubner launched his own artist management company, Deluxe Entertainment, where he managed several acts including C+C Music Factory, House of Pain and Mick Fleetwood. Daniel O'Connor (born December 12, 1968), better known as Danny Boy or Danny Boy O'Connor, is an American rapper, art director, and the executive director of The Outsiders House Museum. O'Connor spent his childhood in New York, before moving to Los Angeles in the 1980s.
