Truls Glesne
Truls Glesne (8 April 1916 – 28 August 1971) was a Norwegian economist and civil servant. He graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.oecon. degree in 1940. He worked as a secretary in the Ministry of Provisioning from 1941 to 1942, and spent the rest of the World War II years in the company G. C. Rieber. He was a consultant in the Norwegian Price Directorate from 1945 to 1946, in the Ministry of Justice from 1946 to 1948 and in the Ministry of Trade from 1948 to 1952. In 1952 he was hired in the Ministry of Finance, first as assistant secretary. He was promoted to deputy under-secretary of state in 1958, and remained so until 1970, except for a brief time in 1967 when he was acting permanent under-secretary of state. He was deputy under-secretary in two different offices; ''Økonomiavdelingen'' from 1958 to 1960 and ''Finansavdelingen'' from 1960 to 1970. The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Provisioning and Reconstruction ( no, Forsynings- og gjenreisningsdepartementet) was a Norwegian ministry that existed from 1939 to 1950. It was established on 1 October 1939 as the Ministry of Provisioning, though having no relation to the Ministry of Provisioning which existed from 1916 to 1922. The name was changed to the Ministry of Provisioning and Reconstruction in 1942. It ceased to exist on 30 June 1950. Its tasks were transferred to various ministries. From the beginning in 1939 the ministry consisted of four directorates and one department (). The directorates were led by Nikolai Schei, Jens Bache-Wiig, Per Prebensen and Øivind Lorentzen. Sigurd Lorentzen
Sigurd Juell Lorentzen (5 August 1916 – 25 January 1979) was a Norwegian judge and civil servant. He was born in Sunndal, and was a brother of professor Gustav Fredrik Lorentzen. He married judge Lelia Marie Loe in 1957. They resided in Bærum. He enrolled as a student in 1934, graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1938, and worked as a secretary in ''Trustkontrollkontoret'' from 1939 to 1940 and in the Norwegian Price Directorate from 1940 to 1945. After a brief time in the Ministry of Finance in 1945, to which he was summoned by Wilhelm Thagaard,Lie, 1995: p. 198 he returned to the Price Directorate and remained here until 1949. He was a deputy under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Finance from 1951 to 1960, permanent under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Transport from 1960 to 1972 and a Supreme Court Justice from 1972 to 1979.
