Alexander True (born 27 July 1997) is a Danish–Filipino professional ice hockey Centre (ice hockey), centre currently playing for MoDo Hockey in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Born and raised in Denmark, True played for the Rungsted Ishockey Klub and Gladsaxe SF in the Danish Division 1 before moving to North America. He played three seasons of major junior hockey with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League before turning professional with the San Jose Barracuda in the American Hockey League (AHL). Playing career Amateur Following the 2013–14 season, True was drafted in the first round, 48th overall, by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League (WHL). She is a professor of international relations at Monash University, where she is also Director of the Centre for Gender, Peace and Security. She studies international relations, gender mainstreaming, violence against women and its connections to political economy, and the methodology of feminist social science. Philip True (18 June 1948 – 16 December 1998) was an American foreign correspondent in Mexico City, Mexico for the ''San Antonio Express-News''. While on a ten-day, 65-mile trek to learn about the Huichol people in the southern Sierra Madre Occidental, Jalisco, True was murdered. True was the first American journalist to be murdered in Mexico in modern times. Micah True (November 10, 1953 – March 27, 2012), born Michael Randall Hickman and also known as Caballo Blanco (white horse), was an American ultrarunner from Boulder, Colorado, who received attention because of his depiction as a central character in Christopher McDougall's book ''Born to Run''. True's inclusion in the book garnered him some attention in ultrarunning circles, and some readers credited him as their inspiration for taking up the sport. During the 1980s and 90s True spent several months per year trail running in Central America.
