Troy Miller (Neighbours)
Troy Miller is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Dieter Brummer. The actor relocated to Melbourne to film his scenes and his casting was announced in March 2011. He had a seven-week guest contract. Brummer revealed that his turn in '' Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities'' caught the attention of the ''Neighbours'' producers and they later offered him the role of Troy. He also stated that the part made him enjoy acting again, after being away from the industry for several years. Dieter Kirk Brummer (5 May 1976 – 24 July 2021) was an Australian actor. He was best known for his roles in television soap operas, including playing Shane Parrish in ''Home and Away'' from 1992 to 1996 and Troy Miller in ''Neighbours'' from 2011 to 2012. He also starred in crime drama '' Underbelly: The Golden Mile'', after having a smaller role in the previous series Brummer and ''Home and Away'' co-star Melissa George, who portrayed his partner and later screen wife Angel Parrish, were promoted as a soap super couple in the early 90s. Ian Smith (born 19 June 1938) is an Australian actor, television producer and screenwriter. Harold Wayne Bishop is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Ian Smith. The actor was offered the role by the show's creator and executive producer Reg Watson. Smith made his first screen appearance as Harold during the episode broadcast on 30 January 1987.
