Troy Cordingley
Troy Cordingley (born January 9, 1967) is a indoor lacrosse coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He is one of five NLL coaches with at least 100 career wins. Playing career Cordingley played in the NLL from 1993 to 2001, spending his first seven years with the Buffalo Bandits, followed by two seasons with the Albany Attack and one with the Rochester Knighthawks. In nine NLL seasons, he scored 128 goals and 312 points in 87 regular season games and 15 goals and 33 points in 9 playoff games. As a player, he won the NLL Championship in 1993 and 1996 with the Bandits. Cordingley also played Canadian box lacrosse for the Brampton Excelsiors and Coquitam Adanacs, winning four Mann Cups. Buffalo Bandits
The Buffalo Bandits are a professional box lacrosse team in the East Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). They play at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The Bandits played in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League from 1992 to 1997, then in its successor the NLL since 1998. The Bandits are owned by Hockey Western New York LLC, a division of Pegula Sports and Entertainment led by Terry Pegula who also owns the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. History The Bandits played their first season in 1992. They played home games at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium sharing with the Buffalo Sabres until its closure in 1996. 2011 NLL Season
The 2011 National Lacrosse League season, the 25th in the history of the NLL, began January 8, 2011, and ended with the Championship game, won by the Toronto Rock 8-7. Team movement The Orlando Titans announced in July 2010 that they would not participate in the 2011 season, due to financial troubles. Darris Kilgour
Darris Kilgour is a former professional lacrosse player and coach. Kilgour currently is the head coach of the Seneca WarChiefs ( FNJBLL). He is from the Tuscarora Indian Reservation near Lewiston New York. Player Kilgour played for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League for eight seasons, before finishing his playing career with the Rochester Knighthawks and Albany Attack. As a player, he won three championships with the Bandits, and is the all-time team leader in penalty minutes and faceoffs. Kilgour's number '43' was retired by the Bandits in March 2001, making him the first player to have his number retired by an NLL team. He was inducted into the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame in 2007.
