''Trove'' is a voxel-based sandbox game developed and published by Trion Worlds. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and macOS in July 2015, and for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 2017 and Nintendo Switch in June 2021. Development ''Trove'' was first revealed on November 13, 2012 with players able to sign up to play the Alpha version of the game. Access to a closed Beta test was launched on September 25, 2014, a free week of ''Trove'' was out a month later on October 24–26, 2014. The game went in Open Beta on November 4, 2014. The console versions of the game went in open beta on December 13, 2016. ''Trove'' launched its Closed Beta in China on March 27, 2017.
