Trouser Enthusiasts
Trouser Enthusiasts are an electronic dance music production group, formed by Belfast-born Ian Masterson and David Green. The group is best known as producers of pop and dance remixes, having worked for, most prominently, Pet Shop Boys, Dannii Minogue, and Saint Etienne. They have produced only one original single, "Sweet Release". History Green and Masterson first met in 1990 while still at school and, through a mutual obsession with Pet Shop Boys, decided to form a musical partnership of their own. Over the next few years they worked together on a number of demos under the moniker "Inedible" - Masterson's upbeat disco stylings providing the perfect contrast to Green's dark, brittle lyrics. This period culminated in an EP of six songs entitled "Superstardom" (including a cover of disco classic "Feels Like I'm In Love" and the very first remix by Trouser Enthusiasts). "Everything I Wanted" is a pop– dance song written by Dannii Minogue, Mark Taylor and Steve Torch for Minogue's third studio album, ''Girl'' (1997). The song was produced by Metro and received a positive reception from music critics. It was released as the album's second single on 20 October 1997. In Australia, the song only managed to peak at number 44. Byron Stingily is an American R&B and house-music singer born in Chicago, Illinois, known for his falsetto voice. He is now a part-time principal at a school in Chicago while still performing. Rod Thomas (stage name Bright Light Bright Light) is a Welsh independent singer-songwriter, based in New York. Bright Light Bright Light incorporates many elements of nu-disco into his music, also branching into synthpop, dance and house music. Two of his albums have reached the top 20 on the UK Independent Albums Chart. Career 1982-2009: Early years Thomas grew up in a small village near Neath, Wales, and learned several instruments as a child, including piano. It was written and produced by Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers with remix and additional production by Rude Boy, Andy Bradfield, Trevor Steel, and John Holliday. "Blue Fear" is an instrumenal composition by Dutch disc jockey and producer Armin. It was initially released on 13 October 1997 as 12" vinyl in the Netherlands by Cyber Records.
