Trond Heggestad
Trond Heggestad (born 3 January 1978) is a retired Norwegian football striker. In 1996 he played for Balestrand in the Seventh Division, the eighth tier of Norwegian football, before joining Sogndal's youth system in 1997. From 1998 he played for the senior team, albeit without league goals. Following an unsuccessful spell in Viking, he played in Bergen for Åsane and Løv-Ham before settling in Austevoll IK Austevoll is a municipality and an archipelago in Vestland county, Norway. Sogndal Fotball is the association football department of Norwegian sports club Sogndal IL from Sogndal in Vestland. The club was founded in 1926. The men's team currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club's home matches are played at the 5,622 capacity Fosshaugane Campus. In 1976, the men's team were runners-up in the Norwegian Cup, losing 2–1 against SK Brann. Sogndal became the first third tier side to play a Norwegian Cup final. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition.
