Eje Central
The Eje Central or Avenida Lázaro Cárdenas is an avenue in the Cuauhtémoc and Gustavo A. Madero boroughs of Mexico City, Mexico. It is part of a system called eje vial of roadways built by Carlos Hank González to modernize Mexico City for improved traffic flow through the city. As its name indicates, it runs through the central zones of the city, starting at Río de los Remedios Avenue (in the limits of Mexico City and Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico) and ending at Río Churubusco Avenue, near Eje Central metro station. Metro Mixcoac
Mixcoac is a station on Line 7 and Line 12 of the Mexico City Metro. The station serves both lines as a transfer station and as the northwestern terminus of Line 12. In 2019, the station had an average total ridership of 54,963 passengers per day. History The station opened on 19 December 1985 as part of the third stage of Line 7. In 2012, with the inauguration of Line 12, Mixcoac became a transfer station, as well as the temporary terminus of the mentioned line. An extension of Line 12 from Mixcoac to Observatorio is under construction, projected to be finished by 2020. By that time, Mixcoac will no longer work as the western terminus of Line 12. Chalco De Díaz Covarrubias
Chalco de Díaz Covarrubias () is a city that is municipal seat of the surrounding municipality of Chalco. It lies in the eastern part of the State of Mexico just east of the Federal District of Mexico and is considered part of the Mexico City metropolitan area. Chalco name is Nahuatl, and comes from ''Challi'': "lake edge", and ''Co'': "place" therefore both words together mean "on the edge of the lake". Politécnico metro station is a Mexico City Metro station in Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City. It is an at-grade station with two side platforms that serves as the northern terminus of (the Yellow line). It is followed by Instituto del Petróleo station. Ciudad Universitaria (University City), Mexico, is the main campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), located in Coyoacán borough in the southern part of Mexico City.
