Troika ( Bosnian: ''Trojka''), formerly known as the Four ( Bosnian: ''Četvorka''), is a liberal political alliance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The alliance consists of the Social Democratic Party, the People and Justice party and Our Party. Formed in August 2020, ahead of the Bosnian municipal elections, and initially called the ''Four'', the alliance had also included the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List, before it left the alliance and renamed it to Troika. History Originally dubbed as the ''Four'', the alliance consisted of the Social Democratic Party (SDP BiH), the People and Justice party, Our Party and the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List (NBL). Denis Bećirović
Denis Bećirović (born 28 November 1975) is a Bosnian politician, professor and historian who is the 8th and current Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Previously, he was a member of the national House of Peoples from 2019 to 2022. He is the current vice-president of the Social Democratic Party. Born in Tuzla, Bećirović graduated from the city's University in 1998. He enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sarajevo in 2000. Prior to his political engagement, Bećirović was a history teacher at a primary school in Tuzla. From 1998 to 2002, he worked at the Secondary School of Economics in his hometown. The People's European Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( bs, Narodni evropski savez Bosne i Hercegovine; abbreviated NES) is a political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina, formed by the merger of the Party of Democratic Activity (A-SDA) and the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List (NBL) on 27 February 2021 in Sarajevo. The president of the now former A-SDA and the new president of the NES is Nermin Ogrešević. This is a list of people who have served as mayor or president of the city council of the city of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo has had 38 different mayors in 39 different mayorships since the position was created on 22 August 1878, upon Austro-Hungarian occupation. Bogić Bogićević ( sr-cyr, Богић Богићевић; born 15 May 1953) is a Bosnian politician. He served as the 5th Bosnian member of the Yugoslav Presidency from 1989 until its abolishment in 1992. Bogićević was also a member of the national House of Representatives and was the 2nd President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well. Early and personal life Bogićević was born into an ethnic Serb family in the Eastern Bosnian town of Ugljevik. He is married and is a father of two children. Ilidža
Ilidža ( sr-cyrl, Илиџа, ) is a town and a municipality located in Sarajevo Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has a total population of 66,730 with 63,528 in Ilidža itself, and is a chief suburb of Sarajevo and ''de facto'' its neighborhood. It is best known for the Vrelo Bosne spring, as well as the natural environment of its surroundings and historical tradition dating back to Neolithic times. Centar, Sarajevo
Centar (Cyrillic: Центар, lit. ”Center") is a municipality of the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located between the older parts of the city under Stari Grad, and the newer more modern parts of the city under the municipalities Novi Grad and Novo Sarajevo. The Centar municipality, according to the government website, is the administrative, business, commercial, cultural, educational, and medical centre of Sarajevo. Although some of these may be disputed, Centar is certainly the most important part of Sarajevo, housing most major branches of the city and national governments.
