Troiano Acquaviva D’Aragona
Troiano Acquaviva of Aragon (14 January 1696 – 20 March 1747) was an Italian Cardinal (Catholic Church), cardinal and Roman Catholic Church, Catholic archbishop. Acquaviva was from a noble family with close ties to the Spanish crown; he was the nephew of Cardinal Francesco Acquaviva d'Aragona. Created cardinal in 1732, the following year he became cardinal-protector of Santa Cecilia in Trastevere, for which he provided a new façade. In 1734 King Philip V of Spain appointed him Spanish ambassador to the Holy See. Biography Troiano Acquaviva was born in Atri, the son of Gian Girolamo Acquaviva d'Aragona, 13th duke of Atri, and his second wife, Eleonora Spinelli. Anthony Troiano
Neon were a three-piece Australian rock band from Melbourne. Founders were Josh Bitmead on guitar and vocals, Britt Spooner on bass guitar and Jamie Gurney on drums. Their four-track extended play, ''A Man'' (October 2004) reached the top 50 of the Australian singles chart. It received critical acclaim in the British music media. Their debut album, ''Neon'', appeared in July 2005. History Two Neon members, Josh Bitmead and Jamie Gurney, were originally from Broken Hill, New South Wales. The pair had played in a band, Porcelein, which won a Triple J Unearthed contest in the mid-to-late 1990s. After finishing year 12 they moved to Melbourne in 1996, Bitmead recalled "I had to start life in a new town, looking to play in bands whilst holding down a boring job." Bill Troiano is an American tuba player from Long Island, New York (state), New York. He was a member of the Guy Lombardo Orchestra from 1976-78. In 1975, Howard Hovey organized the first SCMEA OcTubafest. In 1980, he was asked to lead the continuation of the OcTubafest tradition in Suffolk County, New York, Suffolk County. Also known as "Mr. Tuba", Troiano has been the chairman of the annual Howard Hovey Tuba Day since 1980. Troiano has played in ensembles such as The Atlantic Wind Symphony, The Guy Lombardo Orchestra, The Sunnyland Jazz Trio, and the Huntington Community Band. Until 2003, Troiano was the director of a high school brass band called Students of Music Incorporated. They performed at venues such as Shea Stadium and West Point. Domenic Troiano
Domenic Michele Antonio Troiano (January 17, 1946 – May 25, 2005) was a Canadian guitarist and songwriter, best known as a member of Mandala, Bush, James Gang, and The Guess Who. He also recorded music for film and television, often made guest appearances on other musicians' albums, and worked as a producer. Biography Troiano was born in Modugno, Italy, and his family emigrated to Toronto, Ontario during his childhood. He became a Canadian citizen in 1955. His first professional music work was in the early 1960s with a band fronted by Ronnie Hawkins. In 1965 Troiano joined a local Toronto band called the Five Rogues, which later found success as Mandala. The band achieved several hit singles in Canada, and played several times in the United States. Mandala disbanded in 1969, after which Troiano and some of the other members formed the new band Bush. Massimo Troiano (died after April 1570) was an Italian Renaissance composer, poet, and a brief, but vivid chronicler of life at the court of Bavaria's ruler, Duke Albrecht V in the late 1560s, the only period in which Troiano is known to history. Life Nothing is known of Troiano's early life other than that he was from the vicinity of Naples, possibly from the town of Corduba, since in his first and second books of ''canzoni'' he calls himself "Massimo Troiano di Corduba da Napoli". Only his activities during the three-year span of 1567-70 are documented, but those in some detail. In 1567 he published in Treviso a book of ''canzoni'', secular songs on his own verse. Michele Troiano (born 7 January 1985) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Troiano started his career at native club Monza. He then joined Modena F.C. in Serie B. In January 2007, then Serie A team Chievo signed Troiano in a co-ownership deal, exchanged with Salvatore Bruno.
