Trinity League
The Trinity League is a high school athletic conference in Southern California, part of the CIF Southern Section. The League is regarded as one of the most competitive high school football leagues in the United States; High School Football America rated it the toughest league in 2021, with 3 of its 6 teams ranked in the top 10 in the country and 5 in the top 200. Members The league currently includes seven high schools, six in Orange County and one in Los Angeles County. Orange Lutheran, which joined in 2006, is the first member which is not a Catholic school. Todd Marinovich
Todd Marvin Marinovich (born Marvin Scott Marinovich on July 4, 1969) is a former American and Canadian football quarterback. He played in the National Football League (Los Angeles Raiders), Canadian Football League (Winnipeg Blue Bombers, BC Lions), and Arena Football League (Los Angeles Avengers). Marinovich is known for the well-documented, intense focus of his training as a young athlete and for his brief career upon reaching the professional leagues that was cut short primarily because of his addiction to drugs. Steve Beuerlein
Stephen Taylor Beuerlein (born March 7, 1965) is a former American football quarterback, and is currently an NFL and college football analyst for CBS. High school career In his senior year, Beuerlein led Anaheim's Servite High School to the California Interscholastic Federation 1982 Southern Section Big Five championship, where he was named player of the year. In the first game of the year he played against Ohio's famed Moeller High School. Although Servite led Moeller early in the 4th quarter, Moeller won 29–15, but Beuerlein's performance caught the eye of Notre Dame head coach Gerry Faust, who had coached for 18 years at Moeller prior to taking the Notre Dame job. After Servite went on to win its final eleven games en route to a 31–7 victory over Long Beach Poly in the CIF-SS Big 5 championship game (and a #4 national ranking), Faust offered Beuerlein a full scholarship, and he attended Notre Dame the following year. Derek Dernell Brown (born April 15, 1971) is a former American football running back. Brown played for four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the New Orleans Saints. He started his career at Servite High School in Anaheim, California, and attended the University of Nebraska until 1993. He was drafted by the Saints in the fourth round of the 1993 NFL Draft. Turk Schonert
Turk Leroy Schonert (January 15, 1957 – January 17, 2019) was a quarterback, quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator in the National Football League (NFL). Schonert was the head coach of the United Football League's Sacramento Mountain Lions in 2012. Playing career Early years Schonert was a two-time All-American quarterback at Servite High School in Anaheim, California. He also played in the 1968 Little League World Series as a shortstop and third baseman for the Garden Grove, California team that finished in third place. Paul McDonald (American Football)
Paul Brian McDonald (born February 23, 1958) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football for the USC Trojans, earning second-team All-American honors in 1979. Early years McDonald attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School.
