Trilleen Pomare
Trilleen Pomare (born 5 April 1993) is an Australian rugby union player. She competed for Australia at the 2017 and 2021 Rugby World Cup's. She plays at Fly-half for the Wallaroos and the Western Force in Super W. Rugby career Pomare made her international debut for Australia against Ireland at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup. In 2019 she was selected in the Australian squad that faced Japan in a two test series. She was later named in the squad again for a two-test series against New Zealand. In 2022, Pomare featured for the Wallaroos in test matches against Fiji and Japan. She was named in Australia's squad for the 2022 Pacific Four Series in New Zealand. The Japan women's national rugby union team (, nicknamed Sakura Fifteen) are a national sporting side of Japan, representing them at rugby union. The side first played in 1991. History Japan made their international debut at the 1991 Women's Rugby World Cup. Since then, Japan has appeared at three other editions of the World Cup in 1994, 2002 and 2017. The team has won the Asia Rugby Women's Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. 2023 Laurie O'Reilly Cup
The 2023 Laurie O'Reilly Cup was the 14th edition of the rugby union competition. Australia hosted the Black Ferns in the first O’Reilly Cup match on June 29 in Brisbane, it also doubled as a Pacific Four Series test. 2023 Pacific Four Series
The 2023 Pacific Four Series was the third edition of the Pacific Four Series, an international women's rugby union tournament that served as one of the principal qualification routes for the top two tiers of WXV. The tournament was hosted by Spain, Australia and Canada. The series took place over three months. The first round saw Canada and the United States play the opening match in Madrid on 1 April 2023, followed by Australia hosting New Zealand on 29 June 2023 in Brisbane. The series concluded in Canada with all four teams competing over two weekends in early July for the title. 2022 Laurie O'Reilly Cup
The 2022 Laurie O'Reilly Cup was the 13th edition of the competition. The matches were played on 20 and 27 of August, with both Australia and New Zealand hosting one match each. After a two year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was confirmed that the competition would return. The first test was played in Christchurch at the Orangetheory Stadium on 20 August 2022. The second test was played in a curtain raiser to the Wallabies and Springboks test in Adelaide on 27 August 2022. The Black Ferns won the first test in Christchurch with an overwhelming 52–5 score and retained the O'Reilly Cup. The 2022 Pacific Four Series was the second edition of the Pacific Four Series. The competition was hosted by New Zealand from 6 to 18 June. Matches were played at two of the venues which will host the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup – The Trusts Arena in West Auckland and the Semenoff Stadium in Whangārei. Western Force
The Western Force is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Perth, Western Australia, currently competing in Super Rugby Pacific. They previously played in Super Rugby from 2006 until they were axed from the competition in 2017. Following their axing they played in the National Rugby Championship in 2018 and 2019, replacing the Perth Spirit, and Global Rapid Rugby from 2018 to 2020, an Indo-Pacific competition organised by Andrew Forrest.
