''Trilla'' is the second studio album by American rapper Rick Ross. It was released on March 11, 2008, by Slip-n-Slide Records, Def Jam South Recordings and Poe Boy Entertainment. Production was handled by The Runners, J. R. Rotem, Drumma Boy, DJ Toomp, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, DJ Nasty & LVM, Blac Elvis, J Rock, Mannie Fresh, Los Vegaz and Bink!. William Leonard Roberts II (born January 28, 1976), known professionally as Rick Ross, is an American rapper. Prior to releasing his debut single, "Hustlin'", in 2006, Ross was the subject of a bidding war, receiving offers from Sean Combs, Diddy's Bad Boy Entertainment and Irv Gotti's Murder Inc Records, Murder Inc., until signing a multimillion-dollar deal with Jay-Z on Def Jam Recordings. Brisco (rapper)
British Alexander Mitchell (born June 28, 1982), who performs under the stage name Brisco, is an American rapper. Early life Mitchell grew up in Miami, Florida. His mother died when he was 9, and four years later, at age 13, his brother was killed in a car accident; he then migrated to Opa-Locka, Florida. At age 14, the troubled teen's cousin introduced him to his best friend, E-Class, the founder of Poe Boy Entertainment. Music career Mitchell met Poe Boy Entertainment founder E-Class in 1997. E-Class encouraged him to express his life hardships through rap. "Here I Am" is the third single from Rick Ross's second album ''Trilla''. It features Nelly and Avery Storm. This song, produced by Drumma Boy, contains an interpolation of Stevie Wonder's " Lately". Video appearances made are DJ Khaled, Birdman, Pitbull, Dre, Felicia Pearson, Ace Hood and others. After the song ends, the video cuts to Ross's other song, "Maybach Music". Ralph Di Stasio (born December 5, 1976), better known by his stage name Avery Storm, is an American singer. Di Stasio grew up in a working-class Italian-American family in New Jersey. The group takes its name from the Carol City neighborhood of Miami Gardens, and consists of Gunplay from Miami, Torch from the Bronx, New York, and Young Breed. Nasty Beatmakers are an American record production duo, composed of brothers DJ Nasty (Johnny David Mollings) and LVM (Leonardo V. Mollings). The duo produced Lil Wayne's " I'm Me", Plies's "#1 Fan", and Ludacris's "Grew Up a Screw Up". Early life and career beginnings DJ Nasty and LVM were both born in Cuba, and came to the United States in 1988 due to their father being in the Navy; he "wanted a change in scenery", states Nasty. Slip-n-Slide signed local rapper Trick Daddy Dollars in its early years; he debuted in 1997 with the locally popular album ''Based on a True Story'' and broke into mainstream success the next year with his second album '' www.thug.com'', having dropped "Dollars" from his stage name.
