Tricky Business (British TV Series)
''Tricky Business'' is a British children's sitcom which ran for three series from 1989 to 1991. It featured Anthony Davis and Sally Ann Marsh and Una Stubbs in the first series, David Wood, Anthony Davis, Patsy Palmer and a puppet rabbit called Crabtree, performed by Marcus Clarke and made by Hands Up Puppets, in the second and Bernie Clifton and Leslie Schofield in the third. Paul Zenon was the longest-surviving cast member, playing Tricky Micky in series two and himself in series three, as well as being the magic consultant for both those series. Forrest Wilson
Robert Forrest Wilson (January 20, 1883 in Warren, Ohio – May 9, 1942 in Weston, Connecticut) was an American author and journalist. He won the 1942 Pulitzer Prize for his biography, ''Crusader in Crinoline: The Life of Harriet Beecher Stowe''. Wilson was born in Warren, Ohio, to parents James Forrest and Harriet Rose (Larned) Wilson. He studied the arts at the California School of Fine Arts in 1939 and received his Ph.D. at Union Graduate School. He also studied the arts in Paris and at Pratt Institute in New York. Early in his career, he worked as reporter, before enlisting in the U.S.Army, where he served as a Captain, worked as a researcher and later served as an Assistant Secretary of War. Leslie Schofield
Leslie Schofield (born 12 December 1938) is an English actor who is most famous in the UK for his role as Jeff Healy in the soap opera ''EastEnders'', whom he played from 1997 to 2000. His character was famous for unsuccessfully proposing to Pauline Fowler (played by Wendy Richard). He also appeared in ''EastEnders'' briefly in 1988 and 1989 playing a different character named Brian Wicks. Schofield appeared as Chief Bast, an Imperial Officer aboard the doomed Death Star in George Lucas's first released ''Star Wars'' film, '' Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope'', in 1977. Bernie Clifton
Bernie Clifton (born Bernard M. Quinn, 30 April 1936) is a British comedian and entertainer, known for his work with his orange ostrich puppet costume Oswald the Ostrich. Early life Clifton was born on 30 April 1936 in St Helens, Lancashire, where he also grew up. He left grammar school without any qualifications at 15 and became an apprentice plumber. At the age of 21, he was called up for national service and became a radar mechanic at the Bomber Command Bombing School (BCBS) at RAF Lindholme. He has been based in South Yorkshire ever since. Career Clifton's first performing job was as a singer with a dance band, but he was fired after a month. His first television performance was on the light-entertainment show '' The Good Old Days'', where he was inspired by Les Dawson. He performed in the 1979 Royal Variety Performance. Paul Zenon (born Paul Collins) is an English stage and TV magician, comedian, presenter and writer. He is the author of three books on magic, proposition bets and practical jokes, and an expert on the history of magic and magicians, variety, and unusual entertainments. Marcus Clarke (puppeteer)
Marcus Clarke is a British puppeteer and voice actor from Nottinghamshire. He is best known as the puppeteer and voice actor behind the BAFTA-winning CITV series Bookaboo and the principal puppeteer of Audrey II in the 1986 version of Little Shop of Horrors. Clarke has worked as a puppeteer in over 60 television series and has created a similar number of puppets. Julie Anne Merkell (''née'' Harris; born 26 May 1972), known professionally as Patsy Palmer, is an English actress and DJ, known for her roles as Natasha in the children's drama series ''Grange Hill'' (1985–1987), and Bianca Jackson in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' (1993–1999, 2008–2014, 2019), which earned her the British Soap Award for Best Actress.
