Barney Barton is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Roy Thomas and Gene Colan, the character first appeared in ''The Avengers'' #64 (May 1969). Barney Barton is the older brother and a recurring antagonist of superhero Clint Barton / Hawkeye. Publication history Barney Barton debuted in the sixty-fourth issue of the 1963 ''The Avengers'' series, created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gene Colan. He later appeared in the 1983 ''Hawkeye'' series, by Mark Gruenwald. He appeared in the 1987 '' Solo Avengers'' series, by Tom DeFalco. He appeared in the 2003 ''Hawkeye'' series, by Fabian Nicieza. Solo Avengers
''Solo Avengers'' was an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics, and was a spin-off from the company's superhero team title '' The Avengers''. It was published for 20 issues (December 1987–July 1989) until it was renamed ''Avengers Spotlight'' with issue #21 (August 1989). The series was cancelled as of issue #40 (January 1991). The format of the title was usually two stories, one featuring the character Hawkeye and the other a back-up strip showcasing a current or former member of the Avengers. With issue #35, the format changed to exclusively focus on one full-length story. Stark Tower
The Stark Tower Complex is a fictional high-rise building complex appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, USA, the complex is named after its owner Tony Stark, who is the alter ego of the superhero Iron Man. The structure is composed of a 93-story Main Tower flanked by a 35-story South Building and 55-story North Building. Located at the top of the Main Tower was the Watchtower of the superhero The Sentry, but it has been replaced by Heimdall's observatory. The Main Tower is informally known as Avengers Tower, as it serves as the headquarters of the superhero team, the Avengers, similar to the Avengers Mansion. Helmut Zemo is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly as an adversary of the superhero Captain America and the Avengers. He is the son of Baron Heinrich Zemo and the thirteenth Baron Zemo in his family lineage.
