The Trial of Draža Mihailović ''et al.'', or the Belgrade Process (Serbo-Croatian: ''Beogradski proces'' / Београдски процес), was the 1946 trial of Draža Mihailović and a number of other prominent convicted Collaboration with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, collaborators for high treason and war crimes committed during World War II in Yugoslavia, World War II. Mihailović was tried as a leader of the Chetnik movement during World War II (the "Yugoslav Army in the Fatherland", JVUO). His co-defendants were other prominent figures of the movement and members of the Yugoslav government-in-exile, such as Slobodan Jovanović, along with members of ZBOR and of the Government of National Salvation, Nedić regime like Velibor Jonić. The trial opened on June 10, 1946, before the Military Council of the Supreme Court of the Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia, and lasted until July 15, 1946. Miloš Minić
Miloš Minić (Милош Минић) (August 28, 1914, Preljina, Čačak, Kingdom of Serbia – September 5, 2003, Belgrade, Serbia-Montenegro) was a Yugoslav Serbian communist politician. Biography Minić graduated from secondary school in Čačak, then from the University of Belgrade's Law School. From 1935 he was a member of the then-illegal Young Communist League of Yugoslavia (SKOJ), as well as the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ), holding senior positions in both organizations. During the Partisans' war against Germany and Italy, Minić held both party and military posts from 1941. After the liberation of Serbia from Nazi occupation, he was the head of Department for the Protection of the People's Belgrade branch, then public prosecutor of Serbia and representative of the military prosecutor of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA). Chetnik
The Chetniks ( sh-Cyrl-Latn, Четници, Četnici, ; sl, Četniki), formally the Chetnik Detachments of the Yugoslav Army, and also the Yugoslav Army in the Homeland and the Ravna Gora Movement, was a Yugoslav royalist and Serbian nationalist movement and guerrilla force in Axis-occupied Yugoslavia. Although it was not a homogeneous movement, it was led by Draža Mihailović. While it was anti-Axis in its long-term goals and engaged in marginal resistance activities for limited periods, it also engaged in tactical or selective collaboration with the occupying forces for almost all of the war. The Chetnik movement adopted a policy of collaboration with regard to the Axis, and engaged in cooperation to one degree or another by establishing ''modus vivendi'' or operating as "legalised" auxiliary forces under Axis control. Milan Grol
Milan Grol (12 September 1876 – 3 December 1952) was a Serbian literary critic, historian and politician. He was also director of the National Theatre of Serbia. Biography Milan Grol was born in Belgrade on 12 September 1876. He completed his studies at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy in 1899 and then taught for a year at a secondary school. Afterwards, he moved to Paris and spent two years there studying literature, theatre and art. He returned to Serbia in 1902 and found work as a teacher at the National Theatre in Belgrade. Alongside writers such as Jovan Skerlić, Radoje Domanović and Stevan M.
