Tri-State Speedway (Indiana)
Tri-State Speedway is a high-banked dirt oval track located in Haubstadt, Indiana, approximately north of Evansville, Indiana. The track currently hosts World of Outlaws sprint cars, USAC sprints, POWRi Lucas Oil WAR sprints, MSCS Sprints, and UMP modifieds. History Opened in 1957 by Ed Helfrich, the track has been owned by the Helfrich family since. NASCAR on FOX commentator Adam Alexander began his career as a public address announcer at the track in the late 1990s. Haubstadt, Indiana
Haubstadt is the second largest town, after Fort Branch, and fourth largest community in Gibson County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,577 at the 2010 census. Haubstadt has recently become a bedroom community of Evansville and such, is part of the Evansville, Indiana, Metropolitan Area. Geography Haubstadt is located at (38.204363, -87.575882). NASCAR Cup Series
The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series began in 1949 as the Strictly Stock Division, and from 1950 to 1970 it was known as the Grand National Division. In 1971, when the series began leasing its naming rights to the R. J. Parker D. Price-Miller (born May 2, 1998) is an American professional dirt track racing driver who competes full-time in the World of Outlaws for PPM Racing. Cousin to Steve Kinser, Mark won the 1996 and 1999 World of Outlaws championship and was runner-up in 1991, 1998, and 2001. Mark is the 1996, 1999, and 2000 Knoxville Nationals champion as well as the 2001 King's Royal winner. In 2006, one of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series’ most successful drivers suddenly retired. Andrew Hillenburg (born April 30, 1963) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and current team owner and track owner. Doug Wolfgang (born July 26, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota) is a retired American racing driver.
