Trey Teague
Fred Everette Teague III or Trey Teague (born December 27, 1974 in Jackson, Tennessee) is a former American football Center (American football), center. Teague was a seventh round pick out of the University of Tennessee in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. Denver Broncos Trey Teague played for the Broncos from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, he became their starting left offensive tackle in all 16 games. Buffalo Bills Teague went to the Bills in 2002, becoming their starting National Football League, center in place of Bill Conaty. There he stayed for three more years, up to 2005. In 2006, he was replaced by Melvin Fowler. New York Jets On February 21, 2007, Teague was released by the New York Jets, the last team with which he was signed. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The importance of centers for a football team has increased, due to the re-emergence of 3–4 defenses. Melvin Thaddeus Fowler, Jr. (born March 31, 1979) is a former American football center. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Maryland. Fowler has been a member of the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Florida Tuskers. William Buckley Conaty Jr. (born March 8, 1973) is a former professional American football player who played center (American football), center for nine seasons for the Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, and the Arizona Cardinals. Raised in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey, Conaty played prep football at Camden Catholic High School before playing as a postgraduate year, postgraduate at Milford Academy.
