Trey Taylor
Trey Taylor (born January 30, 2001) is an American professional football safety for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Air Force Falcons, where he won the Jim Thorpe Award in 2023. Early life and high school Taylor grew up in Frisco, Texas and attended Lone Star High School where he lettered in football and track & field. Taylor would decide to commit to play college football for the Air Force Falcons. College career In Taylor's first two seasons in 2019 and 2020, he did not appear in any games. In the 2021 season, Taylor would notch 62 tackles with 1.5 being for a loss, a sack, five pass deflections, an interception, and a forced fumble. In the 2022 season, Taylor would total 69 tackles with 4.5 going for a loss, a sack, four pass deflections, and two interceptions. The Air Force Falcons football program represents the United States Air Force Academy in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division I-A) level. Edward Earl Reed Jr. (born September 11, 1978) is an American former football safety in the National Football League (NFL), spending the majority of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where he played on Miami's 2001 national championship team and was twice named a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Ravens in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft and played 11 seasons with them before playing with the Houston Texans and New York Jets in 2013. The East–West Shrine Bowl is a postseason college football all-star game that has been played annually since 1925; through the January 2019 playing, it was known as the East–West Shrine Game. The game is sponsored by the fraternal group Shriners International, and the net proceeds are earmarked to some of the Shrine's charitable works, most notably the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
