Trevor Croly
Trevor Croly, (born 23 February 1974), is an Irish football coach and former player who is currently assistant manager of Bohemians in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Playing career Drogheda United Croly started his career with Drogheda United signing a one-year amateur deal under Pat Devlin. He made his League of Ireland debut at the RDS Arena against Shamrock Rovers on the opening day of the 1992–93 League of Ireland Premier Division season. In March 1993 Drogheda played Aston Villa in a friendly at Tolka Park where Croly received glowing tributes: "Croly's performance was a major bonus for Drogheda, displaying ability beyond his nineteen years in a duel with Irish star Ray Houghton", wrote John Brennan in the Irish Press. 1993–94 League Of Ireland Premier Division
The 1993–94 League of Ireland Premier Division was the 9th season of the League of Ireland Premier Division. The division was made up of 12 teams. Shamrock Rovers won the title. Regular season The regular season initially saw the 12 teams use a traditional round-robin format with each team playing 22 games on a home and away basis. The division was then split into two groups, a top six and a bottom six. After the split, the six teams played the other teams in their group in a second series of 10 games again using a round-robin format. Celtic Park
Celtic Park is the home stadium of Celtic Football Club, in the Parkhead area of Glasgow, Scotland. With a capacity of 60,832, it is the largest football stadium in Scotland, and the eighth-largest stadium in the United Kingdom. It is also known as Parkhead or Paradise. The League of Ireland Cup ( ga, Corn Sraithe na hÉireann), also referred to in Ireland as the 'League Cup', is an annual knockout competition in men's football in the Republic of Ireland. It is contested by League of Ireland clubs and invited clubs from the lower levels of the Republic of Ireland football league system. It has been sponsored by Electronic Arts and branded the EA Sports Cup since 2009. The competition began in 1973–74, replacing the League of Ireland Shield and the Dublin City Cup. It has had several formats since its inception and has been a knock-out competition since 2005. Richmond Park (football Ground)
Richmond Park is a football stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Situated in the Dublin suburb of Inchicore, it is the home ground of League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic F.C. (also known as St Pat's). The area where the ground now stands was formerly used as a recreational area by the British Army, who were stationed at the nearby Richmond Barracks, both named after Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond the barracks having since been demolished. Brian Kerr (Irish Football Manager)
Brian Kerr (born 3 March 1953) is an Irish football manager. Born in Dublin, Kerr grew up playing football and boxing. At the age of 13, he took his first coaching role with the Crumlin United under-11 side. Realising later that he didn't have the talent to become a top player, he decided to focus on coaching. In 1986, he was appointed manager of the League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic. In 1992, when the club was facing liquidation, Kerr was among the investors who raised IR£82,000 to help save the club. In December 1996, he left St Patrick's to become the technical director of the Football Association of Ireland. Kerr worked with the Republic of Ireland youth squads and also with the senior side. He was appointed as the full-time manager of the senior Ireland team on 26 January 2003. In 2007, Kerr became the Director of Football of St. Patrick's Athletic.
