Trevelin Queen
Trevelin Marleto Queen (born February 25, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Osceola Magic of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the New Mexico State Aggies, as well as at College of Marin and New Mexico Military Institute. Early life and high school career Queen began playing basketball at the age of four at a hoop in his garage. He played shortstop and pitcher on the baseball field growing up, which he said was his best sport. Queen played football for the FAB Phenoms Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) program. He played basketball for North County High School in his hometown of Glen Burnie, Maryland. He began playing for the varsity team as a sophomore for the final playoff game of the season. 2019 WAC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2019 WAC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Western Athletic Conference during the 2018–19 season. All tournament games were played at the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada, from March 14–16, 2019. New Mexico State defeated Grand Canyon 89–57 in the championship to win the tournament, and received the conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA tournament. The win was New Mexico State's WAC leading ninth championship, and seventh in the last eight seasons. Seeds 8 of the 9 teams in the WAC were eligible to compete in the conference tournament. WAC Men's Basketball Tournament
The Western Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament is the conference championship tournament in men's basketball for the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Even though the WAC was founded in 1962, the annual tournament has only been held since 1984. The winner of the tournament is guaranteed a spot in the NCAA basketball tournament every year. Format and host The event has alternated between being hosted at campus sites and neutral sites throughout its history. The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) is an NCAA Division I conference. The WAC covers a broad expanse of the western United States with member institutions located in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington (state), Washington, and Texas.
