Tremors (franchise)
The ''Tremors'' franchise consists of a series of American monster comedy-horror films and a spin-off television show, with a plot centered around attacks from subterranean worm-like creatures known as Graboids. It began in 1990 with the release of '' Tremors'', which spawned a series of direct-to-video films and the titular television series. In 2017, a second television series was ordered to air on Syfy, and a pilot was shot, but the project was ultimately cancelled. Christopher DeFaria (born May 20, 1959) is an American film producer. He served as president of animation and innovative technology at Warner Bros. Pictures for four years. In January 2017, he joined DreamWorks Animation in the newly-created position of president of the DreamWorks Feature Animation Group. As president, DeFaria oversaw all aspects of DWA's feature animation business, including slate strategy, development, production; innovation and technology; and business affairs prior to his departure in early 2019. He is a graduate of UCLA, a member of the AMPAS and WGA and a founding member of FilmAid International. He serves on the board of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Mike Elliott is an American film producer, film director and writer. He has produced or co-produced over 100 films, with a special focus on direct-to-video sequels. Early life Mike Elliott was born in Ventura, California but raised just outside Bend, Oregon. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Soviet Studies. It was released on 12 September 2005 through Resist and Epitaph Records, and was produced by Adam Dutkiewicz. It was recorded in May 2005, over a period of just two weeks.
