Tremont Waters
Tremont Waters (born January 10, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the LSU Tigers. Early life and high school career Waters played at South Kent School, a private all-boys school in Connecticut for three years. He transferred prior to his senior year to Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Connecticut. In 2015, he tried out for the Puerto Rico men's national basketball team's U-17 squad. One of the wishes of the late father, was for his son to come to Puerto Rico and explore his Puerto Rican roots on his mother's side, since his mother Vanessa has family in San Juan. As a senior, he was selected for the Jordan Brand Classic. He initially committed to Georgetown but decommitted after coach John Thompson III was fired. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. NBA G League Rookie Of The Year Award
The NBA G League Rookie of the Year is an annual NBA G League (formerly known as the NBA Development League) award given since the league's inaugural season to the top rookie of the regular season. John Thompson III
John Robert Thompson III (born March 11, 1966) is the assistant coach for the United States men's national basketball team since 2017. He previously served as the head coach of the men's basketball team at Georgetown University. He grew up in Washington, D.C. and was named first team All-Metro by ''The Washington Post'' while playing for Gonzaga College High School in 1984. Thompson was hired on April 20, 2004, to replace Craig Esherick and was fired at the end of the 2017 season. Prior to being hired at Georgetown, Thompson was the head coach for four years at his alma mater, Princeton University. The Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball program represents Georgetown University in NCAA Division I men's intercollegiate basketball and the Big East Conference.
